Bhumi - Pulse of the Earth
Element: Earth | Series: Elemental Truths
“Bhumi” means the eternal. It is also a poetic name for the sustaining feminine force. This piece reimagines Earth not as a landscape, but as the living body of the Divine Mother.
The textured terrain becomes a sacred vessel from which Shakthi, the eternal life force, emerges, not as a force imposed upon the land, but as the land itself. She does not arrive. "She is". The soil is her skin, her essence, her soul.
In this imagined plane of sacred soil and cosmic stillness, the ordinary dissolves. Earth is no longer the ground beneath our feet. Earth becomes a portal into remembrance; a return to the knowing that the divine rises from within, not from above.
Glazed in soft epoxy resin, the surface shimmers with a quiet, otherworldly sheen, like catching a glimpse of the infinite in the most mundane.
This piece is an invitation to shift perception, to see with the heart’s eye, to feel the strength, love, and reverence that pulse from within. When you seek the true wisdom within yourself, the source reveals itself. That is infinite.
All my artworks are born from transformative meditative experiences. I create art as living, breathing meditations that serve as reminders of mindfulness and stillness. This series, Elemental Truths, is a set of visual meditations on the union of matter and spirit. When seen with awareness, the elements of nature reveal the true nature of our own being.
