Where the Seeker Stops Seeking

It is not because the journey ends, it is because you remember. The search falls away when you finally see who you truly are, not the roles you play, but the presence behind them all. When you find that part of yourself that never changes, no matter what the mind, body, or spirit goes through, you know you have arrived. There is no need to run anymore.

This piece shows the duality that often hides in plain sight. If you look closely, you will see an old man and a fetus, a man gazing upward toward the higher being, yet still carrying the current of humanness in his mind.

The concept began when I started sitting with life’s big questions: birth and death, what it means to be human versus who we are without the mind naming it, what life force energy truly is and why we confuse it with mere matter, and how energy and matter are intertwined. Through meditative contemplation, these questions found their way onto the canvas. For me, the canvas becomes like a seer, pointing to where we need to look while also showing us exactly where we are.

The seeking does not truly stop until you know yourself. Beyond the veils of the material and the mental lies a much deeper seeking, to truly know who you are. And when you do, you hold everything within you. This seeking is the essence of Ragini Ashok Meditative Art. Each piece is created to be a visual meditation; a stillness that reflects our inner state and quietly guides us home to ourselves. Every hue is a pause, and every color is a whisper of being.

This is where seeking becomes seeing.

This is RAMA.
